Commander Royale is currently in BETA. The service is provided "as is" without warranties. Features may change, data may be lost, and the service may be unavailable at times. By using this application, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Commander Royale, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Commander Royale is a fan-made web application that combines Magic: The Gathering's Commander format with territorial conquest gameplay. This is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
  • One account per user - multiple accounts are not permitted
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purposes
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the service
  • Use automated tools (bots) without permission
  • Impersonate other users or entities
  • Upload malicious code or content

5. Intellectual Property

Wizards of the Coast Content: Magic: The Gathering, Magic, Commander, and related trademarks are property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Card images and data are provided by Scryfall.

Commander Royale Content: The Commander Royale application, including its code, design, branding, and original content, is proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.

User Content: You retain ownership of your commander deck lists and game data. By using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and use this information solely for providing the game functionality. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose outside of operating this service.

5a. Data Rights and Privacy

Your data belongs to you:

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties
  • Your data is used exclusively to provide the Commander Royale service
  • You can request deletion of your account and data at any time
  • We do not use your information for advertising or marketing to third parties

6. Beta Testing Expectations

During the beta period:

  • Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice
  • The service may experience downtime or data loss
  • Game balance and rules may be adjusted frequently
  • Your feedback helps improve the application
  • No guarantee of continued service availability

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Game Rules and Conduct

  • Follow the official Commander Royale rules as posted on the Rules page
  • Respect other players and maintain good sportsmanship
  • Report bugs and exploits rather than abusing them
  • Deck restrictions and commander limits must be followed

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through the settings page.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Major changes will be announced through the application.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation.
