📜Game Rules
Deck Requirements
presetUnique Commanders: All participants must have unique Commanders — no duplicates allowed.
Power Level: MAX Bracket 3 (see Commander Brackets Guide).
Commander Popularity Limits: MAX 1 Commander within the top 100 via EDHrec, 1 Commander ranked 101 and below.
Banned: No Game Changer Lands are permitted in any deck.
Setup
presetStarting Territories: All Commanders begin with 4 pieces of land, decided based on player discussions.
Gameplay
presetExpanding Territory: After a game, points are exchanged for pieces of land that must touch an existing part of the land connected to the Commander who was used.
You can only expand into territories adjacent to your existing controlled territories.
Border Conflicts — Pre-Game Declaration: If you reach an opposing Commander's border, you must declare which space you will be attempting to take before the game starts.
If you are touching the border of an enemy Commander, you can still take the space as long as you have declared it before the game. It does not need to be against that specific Commander.
Points
preset+1 Point: When a source you control takes an opponent out of the game.
+1 Point: If you win the game.
Modifications
presetMajor Deck Reset Penalty: If you make a major reset to your deck (over 50% of the deck changed), you lose 25% of your territories (rounded down).
Free Mulligan: ONE free mulligan per deck — make one major change without penalty.
Victory
presetAt the end of the season, a winner will be determined by the amount of land they control.
We recommend agreeing on a pre-determined time frame or number of battles before the season begins.
1st Place: Most territories controlled. 2nd Place: Second most territories. 3rd Place: Third most territories.
